lol, i just noticed this part of the thread!! if you follow this logic, it seems that philosophy itself would not be philosophical, as it studies the proper way for a human to think- a result of the mind- a physical/biological object. that's why i regard materialism to be so absurd. (mysticism is NOT the only alternative...)

Have you read the story of Promethius, the mythological character who brought fire to civilization- and they thanked him by tying him to a stone and condemning him to be eaten alive by birds for eternity?
