Violence and ego are always in a battle between what is right and what is wrong.

The nature of what is classed as right and wrong, which from the eyes of one man and another, can display no directionality.

Exactly, and that is what allows the confrontation of ego and violence.

    Within one person ?
Sorry, but I really don't understand what you are trying to say.

Ah, but I still don't get what you meant in general. Could you elaborate a bit ?

Suppose, there is a place like america. That government that runs it is gulfed by ego. Other countries waged in war with it, are violent, more so than america. But america's ego is and has been quenched with equal violence. This is a prime example of ego over violence, and which evolves a violence over ego.

Simply that ego and violence are in constant war, and will never settle. To some extension of this, we are slaves to this, for this will never resolve itself through man alone.

I agree. Though I want to point out that violence is a result of ego.

Because sometimes you get so frustrated because they just don't get it.
Or they start with smart ass remarks, to deflect the debate onto something else.

Sometimes you feel like jumping through the screen to knock some sense into them.

Yes. Violence and ego are equivalent... ego causes violence, as much as violence can cause the ego.

I don't see how violence can create ego. It seems you need to have ego to be violent, not the other way around. No ego, no person.

I will cotntinue this later... but, to answer this...

Take this parable... a man can be violent, and his actions can arise an ego in another that does not agree with these violent actions. You can simply have an angry nature, and th natural ego can have nothing to do with it.

The decision of what is classed right and wrong is an internal discression, which has been guided by outer forces at sometime,

So the violence is the ego's way at enforcing its infallability over oneself, refusal to accept you are in anyway wrong
