oh sure...my dream would be to go to Mars right...well I look up to spending 8 months sleeping in space doing nothing...in fact I really look up to doing nothing. A week after this one I am going out kayaking for a week to relax, and basically my plan is to drift along the river doing basically nothing

If Man does not build its ego through violence, then eventually the ego will destroy the violence, or even worse, the violence will destroy the ego.

 

Or the ego will destroy man.

 

If ego destroys the violence, then goodbye to mankind... because mankind is full of ego, in fact, it is what man has built upon a steady foundation, which slowly becomes unsteady.

 

I'm not really clear on how ego would destroy violence though.

 

Ego alone can. Take for instance, a violant man. An ego within him can dampen the violence. But this only surpresses the nature for longer, so violence will eventually raise its ugly head, and destroy the ego whence it came.

 

So it can't ? Violence will always come back and destroy ego ?

 

'man makes the ego' so maybe the Insults,violence are to protect this Id at all costs less it make him less of a man in the eyes of another..
