i have never understood the comparison, they are not simular in any way. why do some people compare these 2?. how can you compare 2 things that are so different?. its like comparing BBQ chicken wings to a mango. one is about a futuristic empire set in distant star systems, based roughly around eastern philosophy and martial arts, with star ships, troops with laser guns and light sabers. while the other is set in a fantasy realm with dragons, dwarfs, goblins, elves magical wizrds hobbits and a ring of power. how can they even be compared?. i can understand people comparing other movies and books in such a way. or saying they like one better than the other. but how can you draw up an actual comparison of the 2? peace.
