I'm a socialist. I'm also a capitalist, an anarchist, a communist and a conservative. Why choose only one? Bullshit. Capitalism is just another form of social control.
I don't have free healthcare. But doctors are cheap and my insurance is good. Since I live in a capitalist, socialist, communist, anarchist country with a corrupt government, that works fine for me. If one doctor won't do it, some other one will.
It could turn into that if people remained unaware and ignorant of monopolies... which is maybe what would happen with today's population... BUT if you think about it, that's what has already happened everywhere and we don't live in a true capitalist economy (and it has happened in every socialist state to date) - so really that's a pitfall of any economic system.
Still, you can do everything you could do in a socialist economy and more in a non-corrupt capitalist economy - therefore - it inherently has more freedom.
I also believe that unbridled Capitalism, as we experience it today, results in an underclass consisting of wage slaves. Am I still being Socialist, or is that more Marxist or something?
No, they don't. Democracy is a type of government, Capitalism is a form of economic system. See where yours? Show us where is says it in Capitalist theory.
examples, evidence, ect. Of this claim? no shit sherlock. I was proving that his examples were not ussable. no, a matter a fact I dont. did I say that it did?
Agree with the balance maintained by parties 'left' (social democratic) and parties 'right' (liberal). Socialists, it means something else, with social democratic parties also do not agree. Please read carefully the link.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Social_democracy ( The chief goal of modern social democracy is to reform capitalism to align it with the ethical ideals of social democracy while maintaining the capitalist mode of production, rather than creating an alternative socialist economic system.)

Give an example of when Capitalists actually forced someone to abide by it. Calm down. Have a civilized debate or I will not debate. By using an example that doesn't work? Yes. You keep claiming that Capitalists are the ones that force it.
well, in the United States where can we possibly NOT adbide by Capitalist systems? If you live in the US you are by default forced to adbide by capitalist ideals. do not take things out of context to fit your argument or put words in my mouth and I will stay calm. how does it not work? He says socialist force people to be socialist, and using his methods and examples, i created the same logical assumption about Democracys. thus showing that his logic was flawed because my statement that ALL democratic systems are violent and force people to run under our system IS FLAWED. prove this statement.
Are you seriously asking this? Capitalism was established in this country, you were born in this country, correct? Therefore, you have to abide by the country's system. Just like the any country, if you were born there you have to listen. You're not forced, it's just a matter of where you were born. So all Democratic systems are violent? Interesting. Aren't all systems? I think your group's avatar says it all.
that logic is obsured. I HAVE to listen but im not forced? hmmmm..... ... Omega, you seem to be unable to understand this. I wasnt saying that. I was going off his statement that the Socialist system forces people to abide by it using force. so i used his logic against Democracys proving that his logic isnt useable. :wallbang:
you would take it that way. WIKIPEDIA IS NOT A FUCKING RELIABLE SORCE. get off your ass and find another one
You don't HAVE to listen. But it's the only system we use, so either use it, or don't. It's as simple as that. Unfortunately for you, there is no other choice. Note: This is not meant to sound rude. Just straight-forward.
