in this respect draqon can most certainly be labeled as a troll.
draqon has a habit of zooming in from nowhere just to post a sentence or two that has absolutely nothing to do with the topic.
i've never had any problems with him either but that says nothing about whether he's a troll or not.

Well, I removed the post if you hadn't noticed, since I deemed it unnecessary. But you haven't really been around that long, and draqon has a history of being useless and intensely insensitive. Nearly 29,000 posts later, you should be able to understand people who have run out of patience with his inanity.

*edit* I should clarify that I am only speaking for myself.

No. Why would I have? I do not have any suspicions wrt 9/11 being anything other than it what it was; a terrorist attack I don't need alternative explanations.

The problem with the alternative explanations though, is that they are contradictory. Some say controlled explosions were used, others thermite. Some go as far to say it wasn't passenger jets, but freighters, and others that a missile, not a plane, hit the Pentagon, despite eye witness reports to the contrary.

So, if you believe in the alternative explanations, no matter how politely you voice them, you are a woowoo. Sorry.

    scott,
why are you responding to peoples posts in other threads?
you have taken the post above and responded to it in the WTC "why" thread.
you have taken a couple of my posts in open government and responded to them in the formal debates forum.

can a moderator put a stop to this?

I sometimes do this when the topic in question has nothing to do with the original original topic. Perhaps you haven't noticed, but 9/11 really has nothing to do with draqon's request for information on his missing thread. Not only that, but Stryder has previously closed a thread here wherein I was talking about an aspect of 9/11, the WTC Collapses. Now if Stryder were to say to go wild regarding 9/11 in this forum, I'm game, but somehow, I don't think he will

That is incorrect. The correct answer is:
I have taken the post above and responded in the 9/11 HOW? thread. I forgot to mention it this time, however. It would be nice if moderators could allow posters to move our posts the way they do, it would make it less difficult to do so with notification.

Yes, I have. They also related to 9/11, specifically the WTC Collapses. Fraggle Rocker has been fine with it.

Sure they can. They can tell me to respond here, then close the thread (as I think they'll be doing soon anyway) because the original topic has already been resolved.

It's what his signature says in Russian. Who knows what it means.

Maybe it means that he found some anime porn that didn't feature 13 year old Japanese girls losing their virginity to a white boy.

draqon, you KNOW how highly I value your opinion. Perhaps I should rethink my career now.

it's not at all unusual to have two or three conversations going on in the same thread.
i stand corrected on where you moved my post to.
don't expect me to respond to posts in which you do that, okay?
in that regard it could be taken that i have no defense for what you state.
this is why i ask the moderators to stop this behavior.

Fine. I strongly suspect this thread is going to be closed soon though. It's gotten completely off topic. Not only that, but Stryder has made it clear in the past that he's not interested in 9/11 being discussed here, when I requested that the WTC Collapses thread be moved over to Architecture and Engineering.

Wait, -your- post? I was referring to phlogistian's. Not sure what post you had in mind then.

Uh, no. You can respond wherever I post. And unless I forget, I usually even tell where I've put my response. It's not like I'm taking it to a new -site-, just a different forum on the same site, which you also have access to. If you don't want to, that's your choice, but saying you can't defend your position in the new forum is just wrong.

Look, moderators move posts and threads around all the time when they're off topic. They also close threads here on a fairly brisk basis. If the moderators guaranteed that we could talk about 9/11 here and not have to worry about having the thread closed, then I'd have left it here. But I don't like the idea that I'll write some big response just to have the thread closed.

Your loss. Others will still see my posts, however, so I'll continue to respond to some of your posts for this reason.
