The river runs right through downtown San Antonio though, even through a huge mall. The river walk is one of those special places that you never forget. They have an amphitheatre that is split by the river, with the audience on one side of the river and the performers on the other side, outdoors. If you ride a river boat down the river, you float right through the performance. I took many a date to the river walk when I was in high school. Huge trees hanging over it. Christmas tree-type lights in the trees at night. Lots of restaurants and bridges and little parks and benches. Beautiful place.
Gold Coast, Australia. A place with beautiful beaches where people either drown or get eaten by sharks these days.

I'm from Georgetown, Delaware. Hi, I'm in Delaware Its fucking boring here, but luckily I'm only here in the summers, as I go to Virginia Tech during the school year. However, I am near the beach, which is cool, 20 minutes to the closest beach, Rehoboth, and about 30 to Ocean City, MD, which is a really fun town.
