    Is that the one where it used to be some old industrial area and then turned it into some beautiful river park? I think I heard about that in some presentation on urban development. Cool place.

    Will wonders never cease? I lived in Pleasanton too, in 1982-1983 when I was in the seventh and eighth grades. Ran track and started football there. Were you ever told that the city's name was pronounced "Plez-ton?" My mom always told me that. Hee hee. I drove through again several years ago and could hardly recognize it. Would be cool if we were friends there, then. What are the odds of that wonder coming true?

    If I had been there, at that time, you would have just been a kid. I would have graduated in 82 at 19 years old, odd though that we just may know some of the same people. Being that Pleasanton is so small.
