I told Satan I would sell my soul for 5 Billion US$ and a guaranteed lifespan of 99 years. After my 99 years are up, he gets my soul for all eternity.

Satan said I could get 500$ Armenian, cash down, and a guarantee that the dentist won't mess up my root canal operation.

"But, but, but, 500$ Armenian is just 50 cents!!!" I said.

    !!!

"Yeah, I know" said he, "the thing is, I seen your resume, and I figure your soul is going to come to me anyway, so why overpay for it."

I thought about this one before!!

If there was a devil, he/she/it would be so ignorant as to take my offer!, I would offer my soul only under one condition. The devil can take my soul if I were to become immortal!!. LOL!!

Hence the fool would never get my soul! I would be immortal.

Satan doesn't need to take the soul out of your body to have it.

You will be immortal and you will live your entire life doing his every whim. I'm sure he'll have plenty of fun with his new puppet.

:bugeye: I like this new smilie!

Godless, you are immortal already, so why invite negative forces to take control of your life?
Well, if your´re bored maybe...but I´m telling you, it´s better to be bored.

    soul train

If there were such a thing as a soul, I'd give it, tax free, no questions asked to the big red guy. That way, I'd be sure to go to hell, where all the cool people are

Sell your soul for complete control!

I would sell my soul for the amelioration of the ignorance in the world.

Bear in mind the fact that I am British, and about as anal as you can get as a consequence.

I don't want to be a martyr, I just realise that in retrospect, if ignorance was eradicated, my life would have been much better.

I don't wish to whine, I just see this prospect as an alternative.

"The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few.
    or the one".

Don't get me wrong, there is a part of me that says 'No, the Devil's not worth it'.
My sense of empathy tells me that the end result is.
I don't like the prospect of hell after death, yet if I could spare the world from ignorance, would freely go there.
If I could spare others hell during life, then job done.

Sell my soul for complete control?

No, thank you, not in any way.

I highly recommend 'And The Gods Made Love', by Jimi Hendrix. (track 1 of Electric Ladyland) They make the Earth and Sky tremble...

From what evidence arrives the assumption of a soul? What an interesting lie. Well how can there be an afterlife if everything that is us ends? Well there must be a soul to explain this disccrephency. But where is it? Well it's invisible! How can that be, nothing invisable exists? Hey, look at that....

Show me proof and I will consider it.

The idea of soul, like a lotta other religious nonsense, was imagined in the brain, then promoted to supply a reason for human existence, whereas none exists. Peace and enjoy this soul-less day, Jan 9.

The question is asked, What then is the reality? and if question is in reference to soul, god, afterlife, unicorns, etc., the same answer applies: None of them has existed or can exist. We're merely hairless apes (some of us more hairless than others) with evolving brainpower, but without purpose. Unable or unwilling to accept being a random blip on the large screen, we invent all kinds of balderdash to explain our presence on this insignificant pebble in space... Religion, I think, is the biggest scam in history. Not everyone agrees with me, but that's okay. 'Night, all.

That's so true. God, aliens, anything to sooth that need for company, a reason to live. Always we come back to the final conclusion, life is the reason to live. I think people are at odds with the connections between their emotional core and rational thought. The emotional center terribly affraid of life and death, their implications. The rational mind invents a dellusion sufficient to ease the pain of loneliness.

We are a product of our capacity to think. Our fears drive us to a madness capable of making an otherwise logical being into a lunatic.
