Given Trump's erratic nature and increasing political and criminal problems, it's looking more and more likely Pence will become POTUS sometime before the next presidential election cycle. So what would a Pence Presidency look like? What policy changes would we see? Would he dismiss some of Trump's advisers and cabinet secretaries? If so which ones would Pence fire? Would Pence attempt to rejoin the Paris Agreement? How would the world react to a Pence presidency? How would equity and bond markets react to a Pence presidency? I think it's time we start looking at what a Pence presidency means for the country. http://www.newsweek.com/how-many-days-president-pence-558003 http://www.politico.com/magazine/st...-pence-would-be-in-for-a-world-of-pain-215165 https://www.usatoday.com/story/opin...ent-mike-pence-matthew-tully-column/98855674/
Rumor hath it that Orrin Hatch is getting Secret Service briefings - implying that Pence is going down if Trump does, and that there is a RICO case against the Republican Party with Ryan in the middle of it. The assumption would be that Pence resigns, like Agnew, one step ahead of a warrant. I'm still crossing my fingers that Trump goes down. The implications of his holding on to the office are pretty grim.
