    Hello.

What will the Middle-East do when all cars become electric? I know we'll still need petrol to power generators, perhaps to charge electrical objects, but still, all those cars not needing petrol?

That won't happen. There isn't time to reduce the price of electric cars so that everyone can own one, or set up enough recharging stations to make it practical. It would have been a very good development 50 years ago.
Anyway, even if cars all went electric next year, there are all those trucks, trains and ships lugging all those plastic flamigos and lawn chairs and toilet seats all around the world.
Long before they can be replaced, we'll all be blown away by hurricanes.
