    Hmmm...Right down, "loved every song " favorite?...hmm

    Linkin Park - Hybrid Theory....My taste has grown since then but I still listen to it and the cd is wearing out now.

    Disraeli Gears was the first hippy album I bought that I remember, it "glowed" under a black light and was one of Eric Claptons better albums for those times. I still enjoy listening to it today but Spike is still up there.

    Disraeli gears by Cream- Yeah, I love that one.
    "Outside Women Blues" is just tour de force guitar playing. There is a live at the BBC (1967) cd that is just brilliant- Clapton played like he was possessed and is much better than the self indulgent "Wheels of Fire".

    hm... I think it was "Live - Way We Walk", the Genisis. With Phil Collins...

    The second was "Please Please Me" by the Beatles.

    And from there... my taste improved.

    Yeah but that ain't old. My first was "The Kingston Trio at Large" in 1959. I don't seem to have it any more -- probably wore it out at college parties -- but I've still got my second one, Marty Robbins's "Gunfighter Ballads and Trail Songs," the one with "El Paso."

    Now Cosmic Traveler with his Spike Jones -- he might give me a run for the money. I've got Julie London's "Julie Is Her Name," but I bought it in the 1960s. They didn't put copyright dates on music like they do now, but I'm sure it was five or ten years old by the time I got it. It still sounds good, just an electric guitar and a bass viol for accompaniment.

    Paul Simon "Graceland"... still in my top five.

    I remember thinking it was quite a feat to have memorized all the words to "You Can Call Me Al."

    I cant remember exactly, maybe i bought them both;

    Greenday - Dookie
    The Offspring - Smash

    I still like a lot of the songs, if not for the songs themselves, at least for that nostalgic feeling they are able to dig up.

    It's debateable, but I'd have to say the Art of Noise (specifically the earlier one with Close to the Edit). That or a Weird Al or Dr Demento one.

    Wow.
    Seems to be lots of young people here, lol.
    Anyways, first album I ever bought was Zenyatta Mondatta by The Police. Easily still one of the best albums of all time.
