i found myself mesmorized by this...thanks for posting it, bebelina.

    he's not. :/

oooh brother ....oh brother.... oh brother
    puuullease fraggle. lol
but, you can think that women are desperately clinging to men ...praying ''their men'' will commit, if you like.
    it doesn't make it so.

there are exceptions to everything, certainly.
i started a 'sexist' thread...i would love for you to read through it, and post a few cents, if you feel inclined to do so.

Thanks wegs! I always get particularly happy when someone likes my music, since mostly it's the other way around.

Don't mind Fraggle, I think he's from another dimension, time and space. Remember the 50's? No? Me neither, but Fraggle does.

Maybe he was like Lazarus, did Lazarus remain alive forever?

Interestingly, the GG stands for Jesus. He father named him Jesus Christ and thought he would be the messiah.

Best describes me / my views on life ? My absolute favourite, both in music and lyrics, first and foremost, is Pink Floyd's ..

"Shine On You Crazy Diamond (I-V)"

Remember when you were young, you shone like the sun.
    Shine on you crazy diamond.
Now there's a look in your eyes, like black holes in the sky.
    Shine on you crazy diamond.
You were caught on the crossfire of childhood and stardom,
    blown on the steel breeze.
Come on you target for faraway laughter,
come on you stranger, you legend, you martyr, and shine!
You reached for the secret too soon, you cried for the moon.
    Shine on you crazy diamond.
Threatened by shadows at night, and exposed in the light.
    Shine on you crazy diamond.
Well you wore out your welcome with random precision,
    rode on the steel breeze.
Come on you raver, you seer of visions,
come on you painter, you piper, you prisoner, and shine!

Then, Kenny Rodgers, The Gambler .. verse four, I think, says all there is to say about life ..

Now Ev'ry gambler knows that the secret to survivin'
Is knowin' what to throw away and knowing what to keep.
    'Cause ev'ry hand's a winner and ev'ry hand's a loser,
And the best that you can hope for is to die in your sleep."

    Hai;

These are really wonderful! Thanks for sharing guys.

Another song that fits well to describe my life is Somewhere O'er the Rainbow. It's nice to daydream about a place where no jerks exist.

    Lyrics by Karuta-

If the cuffs of my pants get wet,
I can just wait until they dry.
Making sounds in the water, I jumped in.

You taught me this. I'm not afraid anymore.
I have to let go of this hand that was holding on to mine.

Even alone, I'll go on, even if it's painful.
I'll definitely take along the dream I saw with you.
It's nice to be with everyone; I was glad to be with everyone.
...But in the morning I woke up to, none of you are there.

If I look back now, not even a shadow is there.
Only a small pool of water was shining.
To live on is to stand and fight.
Once you understand that, all you need is the courage to step forward.

I'll go anywhere with the things that I learned here.
I'll show that I can make the dream called happiness come true.
Even if we're apart, no matter how far apart we become,
I will live on in a new morning.

Even alone, I'll go on. Even if I start to want to die,
I'll hear your voice telling me that I must not die.
Even if it's painful, even if darkness closes me in,
Deep in my heart, the lights will remain bright.

Turning and flowing along, time is transient.
What happened then? I can't remember,
But if I try closing my eyes, I hear everyone's laughing voices.
For some reason, that is now my most precious treasure.

The song is originally Japanese, but despite the language differences the words and melody of this song still ring true to my heart every time i listen to it.
The first song i posted, reflected my attitude on a mass scale towards society, government, etc. Opposite of that is this song which reflects my own personal feelings for the ones i cherish most or lived with but are no longer with me. I can admit without embarrassment that this song makes me shed bitter-sweet tears every time i hear it. I know that this technically goes against the thread rules but for a person who has dynamic views for different scales of human behavior these two songs that i presented best represent who i am as an individual. On a side note i find that i'm in good company while listening to the songs of all the others who have also posted here.

Are you praying he comes back? I thought "he'll be back".
