This is my viewpoint as of this day, doesn't mean it won't change! Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
straight off the bat you indicate that the body is not "real" the question is whether the body is the final word about us
My view is that there is an absolute reality that is perceived imperfectly by us (imperfectly as supposed to exactly what absolute reality is like). It is then the 'reality' in our heads that is 'warped'.
The "I gave it back" part bothers me a bit, otherwise it describes my viewpoint quite accurately as well.
No, I never said the body isn't real.. I'm indicating that is the body dies, what good was it's perception.. The internal (subjective) reality is gone. In other words.. existence is inherently meaningless..
Hmm ok, maybe a philosophical approach would be more meaningful.. lol Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! Care to explain ? To me it's just common sense.. and I am far from theistic.. Are you sure ? Where do you live ? Anyway, you just described how I see things.. maybe we need another word for the meaning I mean then. You realize that you actually agree with me, right ? This is just semantics.. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
then I guess you have answered (at least part) of your OP question Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
I am agreeing that some meaning and value is subjective I am further indicating that the expression of dissatisfaction for all meaning to be similarly categorized suggests something else after all, why would a temporarily real person have aspirations for value and meaning that isn't temporary?
I just want to sincerely say that I appreciate how you can spell the word "long" correctly Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
And that is.. ? Wtf? Why not.. ? Explain ? The meaning and value created by that person goes with the person when he or she dies is it not ?
