Let me try my armchair pop psychology. Maybe you are an attention whore. Maybe you think others wont read your posts if every word is not capitalized as in low self-esteem or maybe you are an arrogant narcissist who thinks so highly of yourself you capitalize your every word like what you say is more important than what others say. Do you speak normally or do you obnoxiously emphasize every word?

If you are just naive, then its pitifully cute if for some sad reason you think others wont care to hear you out.

Otherwise, its not cute or unique but just plain stupidity.

I love my lady Labrador very much, but not 'lustfully'. I don't have 'lust' for anything since chemo, though I do loves me a nice steak and some mushrooms. :lick:

The OP is weird, as are several of the OP writers statements. My take: a teenie - bopper trying to make a big splash when first participating in an adult web forum in a venue and topic she has no clue about.

The...(to be kind) 'eccentric' typing style makes a definite impression. Definitely hard to take such seriously.

Love is so much more. As an example, I love my parents, brothers, children and even had friends whom I loved as family--none of which involved sex between me and them. Sex just happens to be an added benefit within a relationship with a marital partner. Sex on its own isn't love. Heck, you can buy sex. You can't buy love.

You and Brian think your sophomoric inanities are valuable and profound. It's amusing to watch you deceive yourselves.

I find it annoying and difficult to read. It makes it hard to take you seriously.

Sex is very pleasurable. Sex allows one to condition themselves, like a habit or addiction. This is why alternate forms of sex ranging from internet porn to barn yard critters and all other things, once in the closet, can be highly addictive, to where it almost appears to be a genetic based instinct like procreation. The drug addict, using a new designer drug that the body cannot possibly have evolved genes for, can nevertheless appear to be driven by an instinct, due to a pleasure conditioning. This conditioning can motivate them as strong as lust.

Love is different, since love is not always pleasurable, therefore it does it always result in addiction reaffirming feedback. If you loved a difficult child or a cheating spouse, this is not the same as pleasure all the time. It is more like a blend of pleasure and pain, which has the affect of moderating compulsive subroutines. This allows for more will power and choice. This is why love can extrapolate further. The person who does some drugs, but can take it or leave it, will not form the same compulsions.

Sex and lust is designed to help create an addiction to another person. But like all addictions, these will have a finite life expectancy of optimization, until the slave becomes the master; ease is gone. The goal of this is to break the subroutine of addiction, with the hope that love and self control appear. In the old days, there was saying that sex does not last, but cooking does. The road of lust can lead to nurturing and love.

There are tens of thousands of people whose bodies are incapable of intercourse. Birth defects, injury, incurable psychological problems, lots of reasons. I'm sure that many of these people are happily married.

So why the question "What Exactly IS Love." ? And are you sure about the LOVE that you have talked about is really LOVE ?
