You are very strong an have a plastic bucket wit a handle... the bucket is 1 foot in circumference an 2 feet tall... an it has 6 inches of ice inside stuck to the bottom.
Lift the handle up... tie a 6 foot rope to the center of the handle an swang the bucket in a circle overhead... the rope comes loose from the handle... will the bucket rotate before it hits the ground (you will see the top... then the bottom... etc... ect...)... or will the heavy end (the bottom wit the 6 inches of ice) always be farther from you as the bucket flys thru the air.???

Until a few people reply... just say whether or not the bucket will rotate... wit-out an explination for you'r answr.!!!

    LOL.
The bucket will fly straight away, with or without ice at the bottom. It never rotated in the first place. You did! The bottom of the bucket was always facing you while you were turning..

How about a peg-leg... or a sword... they both will work as a substitute for the bucket experiment.???

I was thinking of a hunter, turning and keeping a moving target in the crosshairs. When we shoot the gun, does the bullet tumble?

LOL, I like to try and visualize the proposed scene. Actually, when the string broke, I saw myself falling backward as the bucket flew straight away. Then I passed out after I hit my head on a rock and never saw if the bucket actually turned. Which made me curious.....

My most recent memorable queston from my health care provider was:::

"Do you understand that you are responsible for this bill if insurance doesnt pay it".???

Ha... i alredy knew my "18,000 a year" health insurance woudnt pay for it... LOL.!!!

Plus i had to sign 3 diferent papers agreein that i was responsible for the bill.!!!

Holey Hell... it was like a third-degree for a $250 dollar shingles vaccination.!!!

If bullets tumbled they woudnt be very accurate... lol.!!!

For those who still ant sure what the results of the bucket experiment woud be... below is links to gifs of a "Hammer Throw" (top view) that might help... which demonstrate a hammer that rotates an a hammer that dont rotate when released.!!!

My answer. The bucket won't rotate.

Re your $18,000 dollars a year health care.

The USA once had the world's most expensive and unfair healthcare system.
It took true American genius to replace it with a worse one.

Half of half leaves a new whole, albeit a smaller whole than the original.

As to the "bucket" issue... below is a link to a video which gives clues:::

At 5:25 is the release of the hammer... keep an eye out for what the handle does after the release (full screen)... those who ant sure (or wrong) will then know which of the antimated hammer-throw gifs below is corect... an best of all... you will then know the answr of whether or not the bucket will rotate as it flys thru the air

On my version of the video I was right.

For 19'000 a year you should get your own hospital.

Not countin last year when the madness had stopped... for the prevous 5 years i had paid a total of 85,000 in premiums... but luckly for the Ins. Co. we was very healthy an they never had to pay any health care bills (we got the policy in 1997)... an on our birth date we always got a leter from 'em tellin us they was workin hard to keep our premiums low... an then tell us how much the new premium increase woud be... happy birthday... lol.!!!

half of a half is giving in to social assignations and not fighting for the full deal, that's what it is really. The quarter left in your pocket is only a shadow of lost possibilities that could have been.

Pray tell, any reason behind this post? Should it perhaps be moved to, say, Free Thoughts?
