The investigation into Trump was ordered by Trump, so how can you call that a Democratic witch hunt?

Can we just bar timojin from this thread so that we can get back on topic...?
But it's his thread.
I'm not following - are you trying to describe this shitshow Trump's administration is putting on as a witchhunt by the Democrats? How are the Democrats involved?
What, then, is the purpose of this topic? To slap people who don't share your outlook?
Support in the many wars the US has fought in, trade (if you want to argue that the US does not need its allies in trade, then I would love to see you support how the US economy could survive without any trading partners), defense..
I mean hey, you wish to close down all foreign US bases and rely on ships? Go for it. I am sure the Asian countries that have been plagued by rape scandals involving US soldiers would not mind if they left.
You think isolating the US from everyone is a good idea? Sure. Look at North Korea and look at how well they are flourishing in isolation.
Anyone can if they so choose. Russia could annex Alaska and that would be entirely up to them. Who is going to invade you? Anyone can.
9/11 crippled the US, planes were not allowed to take off for days. Your stockmarkets dropped like a stone. And that was just by a few individuals hijacking a plane. You think an invasion would be that hard? And after said attack, the US needed her allies to go to Afghanistan. You don't need allies? Great. Means we no longer have to spend our money to support the US in her various military endeavours.
Russian military aircraft were spotted flying off the coast of Alaska for the fourth time in as many days, a spokesperson for the North American Aerospace Defense Command told CNN on Friday.
The two most recent sightings occurred late Wednesday and on Thursday, with the first involving two IL-38 maritime patrol aircraft and the second involving two Tu-95 nuclear-capable Bear bombers.
Russian aircraft never entered US airspace but US F-22s and Canadian CF-18s jets were dispatched to perform an intercept during Thursday's encounter, according to NORAD.
"Obviously -- we are aware of it," White House press secretary Sean Spicer told reporters on Friday. "This is not highly unusual ... but we monitor everything."
On Thursday, the bombers entered the Alaskan Air Defense Identification Zone 700 nautical miles southwest of Anchorage -- significantly farther from the US coastline than two other encounters that occurred on Monday and Tuesday.
That was just in April of this year. It would not take much for them to invade Alaska or anywhere else in the US for that matter.
It might be foolish, but if Putin wanted to annex Alaska, then he is well within his means and capability to do it. Now fight that battle without any allies. See how you go. Remember allies not only provide soldiers, but logistical support, they also provide the US with aid in times of need and necessity.
You have a habit to twist the word and then use them , I guess that is the art of writer.
The word "slap" was not used in the sense you twisted it .
The forum is a discussion of opposite views, I don't need people will agree with me , because there will not be any discussion.
Investigating whether Obama was born in Kenya is a witch hunt; an attempt to find something that isn't there purely to denigrate a politician.
Investigating known links between an administration and a country who intentionally interfered with a US election is not a witch hunt. It is defending the United States from foreigners who would seek to subvert it.
Indeed it was, which is the sad irony of it being derailed by his train wreck of a tangent XD
How did he twist it...?
Merriam Webster makes it fairly easy to understand the meaning of a word, if you are unfamiliar with it timojin:
Definition of slap
1a : to strike sharply with or as if with the open handb : to cause to strike with a motion or sound like that of a blow with the open hand
2: to put, place, or throw with careless haste or force slapped on a coat of paint
3: to assail verbally : insult
4: to subject to a penalty —usually used with with slapped him with a $10 fine
At least there is the freedom in the USA to have those witch hunts. Try staging a protest against Putin and see how long you maintain your freedom if not your life...
Every politician in power would like it that way; kimway, putinway, asadway.
There are few ......cracies where the sign of this is becoming apparent, and it's a beginning in the US. Trumpway is not very far, despite such a huge hue and cry and that too on regular basis, Trump is there, so the first battle is won by him that is suppressing or making redundant public voice. The second battle is you know what, initiate operation putinway...intolerance.
Separate names with a comma.
