I don't expect or demand anything. I'd like to discuss this, but I'm guessing you're all out of ammo since most of your recent posts contain more about your interpretation and labelling of me than they do about the subject. Maybe I'm wrong.

Would it be a lot better if I went to have dystopian nightmares that kept me an emotional cripple for the rest of my life? A change in focus/attitude, and I'm there. Or maybe it's time to come to terms with reality: an unchangeable phenomena, as brought to you by the Baron Max foundation?

My thoughts are not all ok... trust me! Where did you get that? I've had lots of unwanted thoughts. It's for the individual to decide what to do with them. To take them seriously, or be flippant about it. What I want is for us to understand and appreciate in ourselves why some thoughts are possibly damaging to us and our environment. To recognise how they commonly affect our mentality, our behaviors and our relationships. That they sometimes do, long before they're explicitly expressed or acted on.
When there's less discrepancy between our thoughts/words/actions, it's easier to relate to eachother, and we arguably feel more solidified as individuals and as a whole.
That's why I want to root out my own 'inappropriate' thoughts, anyway.
Most of what we desire is a result of or in response to what is seen as desirable in our environment. We're told through different channels, and we reinforce it in eachother. There will always be supposed ideals, and they're always going to cause dissension...

I'm too concerned? This is peaking now because I'm in this thread. Like the OP, I've tried to figure out why it happens, and it's a very serious subject.

I'm confident enough about it logically that I don't need to rely on evidence or statistics just yet. Why would I need to provide evidence for the fact that porn is more accessible now than before? It's self-evident. Or that it's at all related to child porn? I didn't state how I think they're related. Just that I'm pretty sure they are. And I could well say that about any two things, and I wouldn't need evidence to establish the fact that they are. I could just weasel out of it by saying that everything relates to everything.
There's something to be said for reasoning stuff out in your own head.
Refute what I claim with evidence or statistics if you want, or just some logic of your own.

I have been reading your posts and find what you are saying in all the different postings to be very interesting, argumentative, and insightful. I find you are debating and defending some of the liberty issues based on this original questioned posed even though you clearly state your own personal opinion. I respect that and have enjoyed reading what points you bring up.
