Everything that is born dies. So, in order to kill death, you need to kill everything that is actually or potentially able to procreate.
but imagine the chaos! a world population always growing in age, nobody ever dying, to the point where the really old surpass by far the young, such that all young people must specialize in attending to the old, turning the entire world into one big elderly facility
no.... imagine a world were nano-machines will cure every organ in the body....you will never get old truly. Imagine a world were babies dont have to be created, the greatest of all, us existing with stable population and a world all to ourselves! We will be served by robots and they will be below us.
I have invented stem cells with green fluorescent protein in them which I use to inject fluorescent tattoos in the skin. (see tattoo thread). For a small fee I inject these cells any where you want to and thus giving you eternal life. The project is still in its pioneer phase but I got some good results so far. Half the mice I am using to test my cells on attain at least partial eternal life. Great lumps of ever-dividing cells can be found on these mice which will not die, not even with chemotherapy. I end up burning them usually. there is hope! I love beer!
Death accompanies each mortal twice in life. At birth, she speaks to them, but since no one remembers what she says, it is not known why. When they die, she guides them to what lies beyond their mortal years. Mortals fear Death. They fear the sunless lands to which she guides them. They feebly attempt to placate her. They do not love her. Once though, a long time ago, a dreamer celebrated her gift in a song, and came closer to a true description of Death than any mortal since: Death is before me today: Like the recovery of a sick man, Like going forth into a garden after sickness Death is before me today: Like the odor of myrrh, Like sitting under a sail in a good wind. Death is before me today: Like the course of a stream Like the return of a man from the war-galley to his house. Death is before me today: Like the home that a man longs to see, After years spent as a captive. Neil Gaiman "Sandman"
I am reporting all the recent posts in this thread for being off topic. It's about beer. Please give them all an infraction.
Me too, but i love cider especially White Lightning, i know most people think that only homeless drunks drinks it, but it really tastes nice snd its cheap.
Not so. White Lightning is especially nice with diluting juice - Mmmm - especially on a hot summers day. Reiku :m:
Hey thanks Monkey...People it is about beer we are talking...there already is a thread on the good or bad thing about war... Wine, cider, any other alcohol is accepted...all other stuff...buzz off!! To answer the question on all the health stuff...living in restrictions doesn't make the qualtity of yr life better...living in a relaxed way is as good as living super-healthy! Our grandparents used to drink much more than we do now..and see they are in their 80s. I rather prefer to drink and eat what I want and get old in an healthy way..than count my callories everyday and get grumphy...
