    It is the chief inhibitory neurotransmitter in the mammalian central nervous system. It plays a role in regulating neuronal excitability throughout the nervous system. As the natural it has been internationally recognized as the 21st century's health supplements.it is a natural active constituent widely exists in animal/plant body. It has very high biological activity.Then what’s this ? It is 4-Aminobutyric-acid.

    GABA(4-aminobutyric acid) is an important inhibitory neuro transmitter in the mammalian central nervous system, with the functions of nerves calming, cerebral blood circulation stimulation, enhance brain energy, providing nutrition for the nerve cell, increasing the secretion of growth hormone and improve liver and kidney health etc. Meanwhile, 4-Aminobutyric-acid can also help relieve and prevent the hypertension.

    In addition, 4-Aminobutyric-acid as an important functional ingredient for food & beverage, has already be extensively applied to tea drinks, dairy, leavened food, cake, soup and others for healthcare and medical purposes.

    Biochemists and neurologists have long been aware of it.

    But are YOU aware of the results of not having enough in your CNS? It makes one easily distracted, disoriented and basically causes them to appear stupid. (And we've had/have posters here whom I suspect were/are suffering from a deficiency of it.)

    Given that the first paragraph is a copy and paste of the wikipedia article?

    my guess is a new product with GABA came out recently and this dude is advertising GABA so that peeps start searching online and find this new product advertised.

    I mean come on...for first post an introduction about GABA? chillax

    Yep, gotta admit that I hadn't checked any sources but I have suspicions about this thread also. If it wasn't for that nice 20-post rule, there very well could have been a link included there.
