Yeah currently very busy at the moment and there is also this thing...where my job is related to space, I read books about space, watch films about space, and now a game about space...I might be spending too much time on space issues.

There's no rush, you can try it after things settle down for you.

Also, the game isn't "heavy" at all on the space theme, it's just use as a setting. In fact after playing a few weeks I actually forgot it was supposed to be in outer space. <grin> It could just as easily been practically any setting - like moving between continents for example.

There's not much point in having this thread without a link to the game. Please post one.

Originally, there was a reason - I didn't want the OP to be mistaken for spam and offered to provide the link in a PM to anyone interested.

Please note: If you do decide to try the game, please put my player name - Dr. Who - in the box to indicate who referred you to the game. If you do, we will both be awarded some free goodies after a period of time.

If you don't, we'll both loose out.

I doubt it would of been mistaken as Spam. While the site rules about advertisement exist to stop commercialised spam bots, occasionally places of interest online are going to crop up from members and moderators alike. It would only been a problem if you'd posted the link 15 times in a row lol

Hmmm.... Starting over... That's a new one on me, I don't remember ever hearing of anyone doing that. But two things come to mind that *might* work. The first is to send an IGM to Coops and ask him to delete your account and include your email address so he can let you know when/if it's done. And then sign up again. The other one is to just start a new account and don't ever use the original again. I *think* I've read that if an account is inactive for 90 days it will automatically expire and go away.

I've never used a reset myself, guess that's why I didn't think of it.

Yes. So I stared a new one called Scuba. I'm currently level 9.

I also made a massive cock up on the player market due to using an ipad and now have 220,000 iron ore that I then put in commercial storage. The ore is no longer showing in storage, does it matter which storagej you put it in or should it show in all storages?

I think you can transfer the ore at the storage facility to other storage facilities in other systems. So if you aren't seeing it there, then you aren't in the right station or system.

Anything placed in Commercial Storage will show up at any Commercial Storage anywhere in the game.

You click on "View" on Commercial Storage where you are and then "View All Store Contents" in the window that opens.

Funnily enough I would of looked but apparently I was denied access to the Commercial storage because of an outstanding fee of 50 Cr that I couldn't pay immediately (button greyed out) even though I've positive cashflow which is a bit odd, my funds did drop down to 43 Cr for a short duration yesterday (until I killed a pirate)

The volume of cash flow doesn't matter there - the charges for storage are taken from your bank account. Try to not ever let it hit zero.

I hadn't credited the bank. I didn't think it was necessarily initially considering that Cr's are taken from your ship when you dock in ports etc. So you've pointed out something I missed, the only reason the storage was complaining was I opened a sealed container with the help of a Nicky Fingers and from what I can remember the volume of materials was greater than my hold could store, so it ended up in the storage.

I'll have to see if they confiscated the warez for non-payment later, since I'm currently deal in the water waiting on some fuel to re-spawn. (I was out in the boonies killing raiders)

I thought The World of Warcraft was still considered the best online game with over 13 million players. I found it to be too good and too addictive. When I started my early retirement it became my real world.

I have a lvl 85 Mage that can transform itself into a dragon at will and carry low level characters past dangerous territory. There is so much graphics in the game you could play for 10 years and never see it all. It is a virtual world.

People can play from lvl 1-20 for free and download the game online for free. Of course if you wish to grow past lvl 20 then there are 3 (almost 4) expansion packs and a $15/month user fee.

The small youtube series called "the guild" is lightly based on warcraft.

Apparently dune is also a great game, but I'm still in warcraft. I have over 50 mounts for my character including a motorcycle, 3 person Mammoth, a mechanical ostrich, a skeleton raptor, and more. One of my favorite mounts is a very old and slow turtle (fast underwater) that I use in conjunction with my squire pony ( my helper and his pony).

You can explore and level on your own and find and earn your own equipment, or you can participate in 5 man dungeon teams or 10 man raid teams to down dragons and other dungeon monsters.

If you die you must navigate a ghost world from the nearest cemetery until you find your body.

If you want to experience the greatest game ever then play lvl 1-20 for free.. just google blizzard/warcraft and download their game and play for free.

    http://us.battle.net/support/en/article/world-of-warcraft-client-software-download

    found a link.

The game is MASSIVE however and you would need a somewhat decent graphics card, and at least 16MB free on your hard drive to store the data.

The game has another expansion coming in September, it will allow characters to build from lvl 85 to lvl 90.

I am unsure how any other game could really compare. This has fast moving Dungeon scenarios or questing or just wandering. There are auction houses to buy supplies or sell your hard earned loot.

The game does require a lot of free time imo, and can interfere with reality.
