Why not? Everyone really, honestly, knows who's a sock and who's not. Come on. Why not vote them in? Each person nominates themselves for a maximum of three mod spots. A week of "campaigning". Then the voting carnage begins. What could possibly go wrong? Nothing, I say. Nothing. And I double dog dare you all to disagree with me.
Uh, I forgot something. Isn't stucco nice? I like the colours on the wall. Gentle yellows and pastels. Don't you like those colours? Or the colours on your screen. Stare at the screen. Stare at it. Do you like colours? I like colours. VOTE FOR GEOFF Words. Pretty words. Aren't words great? GEOFF IS YOUR FRIEND Thanks for staring. I love our shared experiences. Now, isn't there something you have to do? Right now? Hmm? :bugeye:
That's better. You know, a good brainwashing system takes some time to develop. Always bugs. Sometimes spiders. Whatever gets people out to the polls.
So vote them out in a few months. No big deal. Some people would term this concept "democracy". THIS IS A GREAT IDEA. YOU SHOULD SUPPORT THIS IDEA COMPLETELY...OH, AND PRAISE MYUU
Sure they do. After all most popular politicians make good leaders.......Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
I'd call it democratic alright.. It's a great idea. The system works, but might be a bit unstable in the beginning if people are really voting for most popular. But they will find out they were wrong to do so eventually. Then, next vote, they will do the right thing.
I don't know what you mean. VOTING FOR MODS IS A GREAT IDEA. YOU SHOULD VOTE FOR GEOFF. EVERYONE IS. Actually, have infractions been abolished? Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! I haven't been following the case.
We could of course, bar all people with no science background. That may actually lead to a more quality member base and make voting more reflective of the aims of this site.
It does?!?!?! Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
I think the infraction thing was hardest on the mods who had to police it. I can understand if they wouldn't necessarily want to do it again, of course; it must have been hard work. I'm just talking about a transient adjustment period. Nothing too involved. You see what I mean?
