Could violence work for getting the better situation for the people? Or is violence just plain violence. For example if we were controlled by a fascist government would it be OK to engage in violence to get your point across or to change the system? Some protestors today engage in violence and their message is loud and clear but are they right to do so? They believe our government is as corrupt and unstable as any fascist government in the past (and mostly I agree with them) so they’re doing what they think is right, but is it right?

Violence CAN be used as a tool but if it is, it should be applied correctly. A good example of how NOT to do it is the senseless targeting of ordinary men, women and children who are not the oppressors.

But there are other ways. In fact, I believe there have been a few bloodless coups pulled off.

Violence is an admission of failure. Circumstances alone dictate whose.

Hey, if crime fighters fight crime, what do freedom fighters fight?
