Right, but an E17 embryo is 17 days old of a 18-22 day gestational cycle. Do I support that kind of research? Yes, because I think a greater good can come of it in the name of science. However, if you were to do research on a living human fetus at the 30-34 week of pregnancy... I think I would have a huge problem with it. Do I think that research companies could get the same kind of scientific data out of mice at an earlier stage where they feel no pain, or find a way to still use the mice but cause them not to feel pain? Sure. WOuld it effect the research? Probably. It's not a black and white issue. I was refering to human embyro research, but I see your point. At this point, you are just splitting hairs. It's all very situational. I could not bring myself to inflict harm on the creatures, but I see how someone could justify it and I don't condemn them for it. Just like I don't condemn people for eating meat. It's not my place to judge others, I can only live my life in the way that is most comfortable for me.
no, i eat everything...i love eating! i ate avatar once, but had to burp him out, flesh wasnt tast :-( Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! just random idiotic comment Later Rick
Humans have been afraid of Animals, for 1000s years. Its about time we got our own back on them, if you ask me. However that doesn't mean am just going to randomly massacre animals, it just means if one gets in my way then its going to die.
Take a small cow, put it in a field and let it stuff itself with grass. It turns into a big cow. It occurs to me that cows must therefore be made out of grass. So why can't vegetarians eat cows? Dee Cee
Because if we fed them with chickens, they'd grow just as big. If something runs from you when you are trying to kill it... then they probably want to live. Just a simple observation.
People made from pizza and beer tend to have tough fatty meat with an unpleasant aftertaste. Vegetarians taste much better. BTW non-cannibals are not allowed to eat people. Only card carrying cannibals are allowe to do that. Hope this helps. Dee Cee
No, they don't... do they? Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! I am sure that baby meat, like veal, would be nice and tender. Less hair to pluck and easier to pull off the bone. Not to mention the lack of chemicals in their fat little bodies and the lack of excess gristle and sinew. And their livers... can you just imagine how easily it would just melt in your mouth? I'll fetch the wine, you make the rice.
If something runs from you when you are trying to kill it... then they probably want to live. Just a simple observation. tis an unfortunate fact that wanting to live and being allowed to live are two different things. Just ask an antelope if you don't believe me. Dee Cee
Plants cannot adopt the strategy of running to show will for living. They have substituted strategies though, such as thorns and toxins (which tend to taste interesting to humans). I'm going to shout 'DISCRIMINATION" now! (just kidding).
It all sounded great until you mentioned liver ... I hate liver. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
