I don't know, I had fun playing with just the bots, I haven't play UT2k for awhile now but I did have a purchased UT2k3 and it worked fine in online mod.

Real bot.. Pod Bot.. Android Bot.. etc.

 

"Bots" you know basic AI characters in the game to shoot at.

 

Pod Bot is the only one I could ever get to work for CS 1.5... it is funny to watch them play themselves in first person view... they obviously cheat

If you wanna play Counterstrike why don't you try pasting your CS Directory into C:/Windows/Valve/Steam/(YourUserName)@domain.com/HS/(Counterstrike Folder)

I don't think it will work though.

Aimbots are to easy to find, Cheating death and VaC is too easy to counter as well. They need a new anti cheating system for C.S

Did u do this for free? If so where did you get it (Hope your not trying to download from a p2p software)

P.S - Steam isn't that bad, they have some good mods (Like Natural Selection and digital paintballing). Plus with steam I was able to get Half Life, Counter Strike, Natural Selection, Day of Defeat, Team Fortress, Vampire Slayer ,Digital Paintball, Blue Shift, Opposing Force and more for free. Heh Steam is freaken awesome.

P.S It hasn't happened to me yet so...

 

If it cant read your CD key, like me, then you actually have to physically mail your original CD key (on back of case) to the company so that they can verify its actually yours...

 

why are people using this if it is so crap.

Why doesn't everybody just stick with CS 1.5?

You can't really improve the game beyond that version anyway.

the reason people cant go back to 1.5 is because 1.5 servers are slowly disappearing and its becoming nconvinient when u cant find servers near u.

i think i speak for all when i dont want to play on a server half way across the world and get 4000 ping. 1.6 is inconvinient and it stopped working for me. im just going to get CS: CZ and use that to play 1.6 and the Single playuer campaigns is sounds like a good game. :m:

I gotta admit, Steam plays fine for me, if not better than 1.5. The only serious problem I have is that damned 'friends' network. A great idea, but easily 90% of the time it never works properly. Ah well...

uninstalled half-life, CS, and steam and free'd a gig of space. So many other good games, besides the type of people on CS nowadays is pretty sad.
