Yeah, when you're willing to kill 93 children, its rather pompous to point out what other people are doing.

At least, the Taliban have their own family members living there, to the Americans they are all collateral damages.

You have got to be shitting me. The Taliban is trying to put their country back in time, especially when it comes to women's rights. They are killing, burning, stoning women/girls in the name of honour. They are refusing to let girls go to school and are killing teachers who try to educate them. It is like a female genocide.

Then they hide in schools and hospitals knowing they can be fired upon or bombed. THEY make those civilians collateral damage. But you want to blame Americans??

Whatever the Taliban are doing, what the US is doing is much worse.

And the Americans have only themselves to blame for the Taliban, they enabled the religious fundamentalists because the Afghans were getting communist. The communist platform before the US intervention was entirely about getting the women an education and building a country. But no, the Americans could not have that :runaway:

So they armed and trained religious fundamentalists from 40 countries. Then left them once the Russians were done. Now the US is unhappy because they went from not religious enough to too religious.

    Fuck them.

Think about it. Does it work? No it does not. Americans bomb schools even if there are children inside. So they can't really hide there in the hope that they won't. The US does not care if there are children in the missile sights. As you said, getting the "terrorists" trumps the kids also dying with them.

They had kids in Gitmo and Abu Ghraib for God's sakes. Why would anyone believe that being with civilians [ie living in your own home in your own neighborhood, with your own family] would make any difference to the people who invaded and occupied your land? The very basis of occupation is that you do not respect the sovereignty of a people.

As DH said, this is Israeli talk. Hamas hiding behind civilians, because its not like Israelis don't shoot children in the head.

You will, of course, remain living in the US, a country that welcomed you with open arms and gave you a way to make a living, something that would never happen in a Muslim state.

    Yeah, fuck them, eh Sam?

But, you won't do that yourself, will you, Sam?

I'd do the same for anyone, its a pity more Americans won't stand up to their government when its on killing sprees around the world. Especially the ones who call themselves "secular humanists".

Or are you one of those "my country, right or wrong" advocates? The ones who would lock step and march even if the country was on the way to a holocaust?

    Exactly.

"Working in Saudi Arabia could be a challenge, particularly for women. Unfortunately, only a few professions are open for working women. Teachers, Doctors, Nurses and house maids are a few of those jobs which women are allowed to work. Usually, working women find it easier if their husbands also work in the same city. For those who are not accompanied by their husbands, life could be quite uncomfortable.

Driving by women is prohibited in the kingdom."

Not in Saudi Arabia, you won't.

    You're not American.

So if you're husband beats you, it's ok for me to kill your daughter to stop him?

That's an old law which was present in all the societies of the region. Adultery is punishable by death in many Asian societies. Some parts of India for example.

That's US propaganda. There are thriving girls schools and universities in Afghanistan. From where do you think that women nurses, doctors, and engineers graduated during the '90s? There are local warlords who don't let their subjects get educated, and many of them are US allies. Unfortunately, Americans have a tendency to view all crimes in Afghanistan as a work of the 'Taliban', which doesn't even exist anymore.

You really think they wish to kill and degrade their own women? This proves just how vicious and destructive the US propaganda machine has been to pollute the American mind concerning Afghanistan. You must really have low standards for other human beings.

No fighters were killed in the attack. None. This proves that the claim they were human shields is just a lie by Americans to save face.

America murdered 93 little children in this attack in cold blood, this is an act of war against the whole population of Afghanistan. 93 little boys and girls who will never go to school, never work, and never have families of their own.

America is destroying the very future of Afghanistan, and yet they are blaming the Afghanis. This would make any logical person disgusted.

    They're with Allah now, right?
So it's not a big deal, right?

Even one innocent person dying is too much. It is about the fact that killing innocents, particularly women and children, is unacceptable.

Allah swt give these martyrs Paradise and bless their families. From God we came, and to God we shall return.

I was never ever shown to the door of a store for my colour in Saudi Arabia. I had freedom in my work, got 60 days off in the year, had Saudis working for me and was paid the same as anyone else in my position.

I did, I was famous for reporting poor behaviour directly to the ministry in Riyadh

    Wasn't Saudi either.

Unlike you I don't restrict myself to tribal alliances or think tolerance means getting along only with people who agree with me.

Honestly I don't trust any source of news but from my own two eyes... even then....

I once knew an officer who would witness things going down, but then when he saw it even in the LOCAL newspaper the information was inaccurate. If small town newspapers can't get things right.... how then can national news be accurate?

Unless there are Nazis in any printing press, destroying credibility for all news reporting agencies. I dunno, just a theory.

Even if what she says is true, which it isn't, Sam was a foreigner and was not Saudi herself. Big difference.

So youre saying the law in another soveriegn country does not affect you or anyone not a national of that country? Wow, maybe thats what they call "minding your own business". Now what about my Shia aunt that was offered more pay and a higher position in Saudiland than she could get here?

Hardly. It's called not wanting to start an international incident. If you think the Saudis don't want to do something about that, you're delirious.

    A fabrication, on your part?
