I've made some changes to the URLs using mod_rewrite. The main advantage is that most of sciforums is now indexable by search engines like Google. Search engines generally don't follow cgi-style "?" links, so it's necessary to write URLs like /t30/s/thread.html such that they're considered "valid".
The reason I mention this is twofold. First, I just want to mention that our search engine exposure should improve, hopefully bringing some more members.
Second, I've just gone and done the most traumatic thing possible to a website -- that is scrambling it's URLs
. So, if you find ANYTHING that doesn't work, let me know so I can fix it.
Thanks
