Are you really that desperate for attention?
Have you not been getting your daily dose lately?
Has trolling been less fulfilling than usual?

Oh forget PM, I'll share with everyone here. Please check this youtube links if
you are interested, darksidzZ. It's from movie serial, Dae Jang Geum (Jewel in
the Palace). It's like a telenovela, consist of about 70 episodes

It's about the first female physician of the Joseon Dynasty of Korea. Although the
movie is somewhat dramatic (like a telenovela), here you can see very nice Korean
traditional culture, Korean cuisine and the way they are cooked, and very inspiring
    as well. It's very neat.

    Some early episodes:
First episode (when she was a kid and work as a servant in the kitchen in the King palace,
she is the one that doesn't cry):
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IwsHC3EVgZ8

Second episode (here she is already a grown up and have to serve the king with
some cuisine, she is the one that serve the 'vinegar' cuisine):
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lkbQrdS-Olg&feature=user

    Third episode:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wYdC8g4sCPo&feature=user

    Enjoy! I gotta work, ciao.

    Good Day :-(

Well guess what? That PC I'd rebuilt didn't hold it's weight, the thing basically will not boot now except to BIOS, it tells me "A disk read error occured". Now I've tried to work with the original components from my 1st system and only upgrade those I thought were faulty, however this proves to be just daunting. Whatever is wrong this thing doesn't restart normally, it has proven completely un-reliable. I've gotta tell ya I'm a little pissed right now and I've had just about enough, I have decided it's not worth trying to buy a new HD and see if the error is related to that or the mobo, so I give up. Much like my giving up on finding a female for mating purposes I give up on my PC.

I did everything right, it should've been perfect the first build I did in the middle of the year, but for whatever reason (bad luck) or just poor handeling this thing has chosen to occur now.

I did clear the CMOS, I tried unplugging every single thing except the HD, the thing just refuses to boot. I cannot waste more energy or thought on this, so I'm essentially without a PC, most likely till next year.

Just so you know this is ridiculious, the HD passed all the checks I ran when the thing still ran properly, the entire thing was rebuilt, I'm guessing something from my old rig was faulty and just gave out. But even then the RAM passed validation too, your guess is as good as mine.

I have to pay off debts owed to my creditor, then prepare for my insurance payment, car payment. It may be awhile before anyone here sees me again.

    Good bye

This may increase your chances for acquiring a female for mating purposes.

If you do popup to check on this, for F-Sake don't "Scrap the Caddie, Clyde". Either try to deal with it or sell it. Either way you get something out of it, other than just a rampage of silicon destruction.

Incidentally perhaps you would be better off selling it and picking up some cheap second hand computers. They are the best tool to learn how to debug with rather than just trying to build a top notch tower from scratch (as well as being cost effective)

Don't give up on your build. Your problem is not that difficult to solve. As shown in your other thread: http://www.sciforums.com/showthread.php?t=87765.

Why did you even start a different thread for this? To say goodbye because you have one minor problem with your PC that you are blowing way out of proportion? I had the exact same problem with my build a few years ago. It was so bad, I had to take it in to the computer shop to get checked in which they told me it was a video card problem. Well it wasn't, and I figured it out. Your problem is likely the same thing.

The only problem I wasn't able to solve was my mom's harddrive problem. I couldn't get access to the hard drive even when I slaved it into another computer.

    I'm back :-!

I decided until I can figure out what's up with my PC now I'll get this http://www.amazon.com/ASUS-Intel-Pr...1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1226484104&sr=8-1

It's insanely cheap $269 and I could hardly believe it honestly. I'm going to leave it on 24/7 and leave my chat clients open so you can all chat to me randomly, when I get it I'll let you know.

Weird, but I'm abandoning PC gaming, to expensive to try and chase.

Don't forget your three year service plan.
It's always a good idea, and only costs £20 a month.
That's what the man at the computer shop advised me to do.

    Eee Box

It has not arrived yet. They tried delivering it today along with an external USB dvd writer I got on Newegg, unfortunately no one was around :-( Hopefully it'll be delivered today and someone will be here. With my luck probably not, but eh.

    Here's links

    http://www.eeextra.com/eee/eeebox-specs.html

So far it seems pretty decent from specs, however I've heard the onboard video just sucks miserably making it an unwelcome multimedia system. Appearantly it has no hd acceleration or something because they went with the desktop version of the chipset instead of the laptop one, so it lost some functions. Weird that a desktop chipset would be limited compared to it's laptop counterpart, oh well =P

    Stuff on their homepage

    http://www.asus.com/news_show.aspx?id=11854

Accordingly this PC will be to temporarily satisfy my need for a quiet PC, internet, chat, and maybe if it works play dvds. I don't plan to mount it though because I am lazy :L

This things supposed to run on 20 watts making it less than a light bulb?! If true I'll just leave it on all the time and that way ppl can chat to me if I'm away. Downloading porn all day might be possibly an advantage.... oops did I say that? lol jkin

Basically it's meant to be a simple thing for me that doesn't make me stay awake if I'm downloading at night. I've heard the HD comes partitioned into 2 40 GB sectors?! wtf for I don't know. I'll just leave XP Home on there... I am tempted to try linux but since the rather sloppy compiz-fusion implimentation requires such high end graphics equip I don't think it'd run on here. Boy'a they screwed up that, Beryl would easily run on this thing no doubt. I don't get it but they can't even put desktops for the end caps on the cube anymore.

So eh... work is tough for me
