In reply to a thread which has now closed I must write that we are currently without an age limit for kissing, that I am aware of, but if it is regarded as a sexual act then we must assume that the legal age for kissing is sixteen. A kiss is regarded as a greeting, or a farewell: on the continent kissing is regarded more so (I believe.) If we assume that these two differences in time (a greeting or a goodbye) are connected by the same act, we find kiss after kiss must end with a goodbye; a goodbye kiss. It is in this way that we find the terms 'the kiss of life' or a 'kiss of death' (mythology). So then, I am writing that of more significance is the LAST kiss, rather than the first one...
