It was rolled out last year, actually: https://www.stratstone.com/news/reflecting-on-the-aston-martin-electric-future-event/ This is the first of a proposed range of EVs, under the Astom Martin sub-brand "Lagonda". Like antique brandy, you mean? I suppose so, eventually. But there will be petrol-engined vehicles long after 2030. That is the proposed date by which sales of new cars can no longer be solely powered by fossil fuels. So hybrids can be sold after that date, and of course the existing fossil fuel-powered cars already on the road can still run. We will still need some petrol stations for another decade at least after that date.
And maybe more efficient gasoline Engines . With power ( I love the sound of a powerful V8 Engine ( especically big blocks) , with Camshaft duration and lift , compression , exhaust ) .
Yes But for the rich . Who could afford to have oil , refined to gasoline , it never ends , thank goodness.
Electric cars have no sound , no rumble , no feel in the gear shift ; Electric cars just go , really quickly , I mean really quickly .
That's the sound of killing the earth the you walk, breathe, eat and breed on. Addiction to toxins are killing us all.
Understand your point . I realise that I'm from the last generation that Built Powerful Engines to go fast and quick . Its sad to see them go .
So am I from the last generation, and I'm sad that I'll be gone before those killer machines are. (No, not just the ecology - the economy, too, and all those pedestrians and passengers, downtown neighbourhoods and local businesses, parks and playgrounds that became mere collateral damage to the cult of power and speed. Gasoline cars, like all gods that demand sacrifice, were always a bad idea. Marketing and mass entertainment brought millions to their altar.
And the power of the oil industry . Many ideas , especially , electric , water ; were bought out by the oil industry . No ideas about the form of power to the cars motive force is really new . But for now I have a Mustang GT , and it goes , and I will enjoy it while I can !!!!!
and, now a brief musical interlude but first some history in 1932 lincoln made a 448 cubic inch v12 but wait, there's more and my minister drove one as a teenager, I thought that the best way to drive was with my right foot planted firmly on the floorboards one fine day, in my rear view mirror I saw a pale green rambler who was gaining on me so, I accelerated and he stayed with me I took the corners faster and outpaced him pulled into my driveway shortly followed by the rambler out stepped my minister I said: You drive fast" he replied: "so do you" I really liked that man of god.
If you believe that electric cars can't go fast, you're quite wrong. Try googling "Tesla drag race" for instance.
