This is a public forum so obviously anyone can have a say here , but I would be interested more in the Americans point of view about...

Would the Americans here like to have a ''Constitutional Monarchy'' also called a'' Parliamentary Monarchy'' like that of the UK? I would especially like to hear their views on the monarchy bloodline descendant part in this?

I hope you don't mind, but I would like to take a backseat and just read anyones views, if any.

It would be cheaper and avoid nation wide disruption every four years.
I am in Australia and many want a republic but perhaps really don't consider the drag of electing a president.

The U.S. Constitution has three independent power centers, Congress, President, Supreme Court.
Current U.K. System has one supreme center - Parliament. The Monarch is a pure figurehead with no real power.

    Actually I think she is

I don't use Twitter but I seem to recall a news item about her sending her first one

Was same sort of item about the pope

I was about 7 when I saw her go past just after her coronary

Open car but sitting on the back of the back seat so high out of the car

And yes she did wave to me

I see no need for a Monarchy but the Parliamentary form of government has its merits as does our form of government of course.

    Yes predictive text

    Not that predictive though

I'm sure I clicked on coronation

    Oh well

I still remember it was a nice day off from school

A few years later I was working at the Service station I'd watched her pass on The Old Kent Road

Not reallysure why the monarchy still works

Think the only reason Australia did not become a Republic the last time the water was tested was the particular MODEL of Republic which was offered
