"The USAF defines a UFO as: Anything that relates to any airborne object which by performance, aerodynamic characteristics, or unusual features does not conform to any presently known aircraft or missile type, or which cannot be identified as a familiar object."(USAF Regulation 200-2)

    EXCEPT the definition

    UFO
    /juːɛfˈəʊ,ˈjuːfəʊ/
    noun
    1. a mysterious object seen in the sky for which it is claimed no orthodox scientific explanation can be found, often supposed to be a vehicle carrying extraterrestrials.
    Miriam Webster

    My bold

"The USAF defines a UFO as: Anything that relates to any airborne object which by performance, aerodynamic characteristics, or unusual features does not conform to any presently known aircraft or missile type, or which cannot be identified as a familiar object."(USAF Regulation 200-2)

    As per MR

"The USAF defines a UFO as: Anything that relates to any airborne object which by performance, aerodynamic characteristics, or unusual features does not conform to any presently known aircraft or missile type, or which cannot be identified as a familiar object, everything about them says exotic."(USAF Regulation 200-2)

My interpretation of a adjustment (bold) which now includes MR impression of what they are. Very surprised USAF Regulation 200-2 didn't include it from the get go. Makes the regulation so much clearer

You don't have a link to any official report. I'm going to assume you haven't seen one.

So, unidentified then, not partially identified?

There's nothing there that says it is supernatural, extraterrestrial or "non-mundane".

What does the "U" in the acronym UAP stand for?

UAP on the other hand stands for

    https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_Australia_Party

Some how that doesn't seem to fit

You're the only one obsessing about some report. Show us you really care and go find it yourself. Make us proud!

    Unexplained.

What does the "P" in UAP stand for?

Except for the fact that they are metallic discs, rotating tops, spheres encasing cubes, and 40 ft long tic tacs instantly turning and accelerating at supersonic speeds. Just that small detail.

On MR's home planet they're facts. He keeps trying to get Earth to conform to alien formalizations.

Not obsessing. Asking you to provide the evidence you claim you have.

    For instance, you claimed
    • There were no pilot errors in identifying the objects as "proven by corroborating evidence on multiple systems" (quote of your words).
    • The Navy ruled out "mistaken jets seen from the rear", seagulls and whales.
    • The Navy failed to take into account suggested explanations put forward by skeptics.
    • The Navy dismissed skeptical accounts as "bullshit".
    • Observing conditions have no bearing on the appearance of the objects.
    • The objects displayed "specific performance and structural traits" identified by the Navy.
But when pressed to provide the evidence from an official Navy report that backs up any of these claims you come up blank.

I thought you were basing your claims on actual evidence. But really you're just making shit up, aren't you?

It's your claim that extraordinary "craft" appear on the videos. Why can't you provide anything to back up that claim, other than some credulous news reports and a couple of eyewitness accounts who are doing the talk circuit pushing the story?

Mr. Duck and Weave doesn't like being pinned down to having to support claims he's made.

That's what the totally credible eyewitnesses reported. That's what the FLIR video shows. And that's what the official news reports detail. All the information needed has been provided and shows what happened in these encounters. We even posted a documentary video providing a detailed account and interviews complete with excellent simulations. There's nothing more to quibble about. The encounters happened as reported and remain compelling evidence for the existence of ufos.

To quote Luke Skywalker: it's amazing. Every single thing you wrote just there was wrong.
    • The eyewitness statements are disputed.
    • What the FLIR video shows is contested.
    • There are no "official news reports".
    • More information is needed to make a positive ID than has been provided. In particular, it is impossible to conclude from the available information that these "objects" were any kind of non-mundane "craft".
    • The information that has been provided does not "show what happened in these encounters". All of it is contested. At best, it's one interpretation of what might have happened.
    • The "documentary" video was creduluous of the "alien craft" hypothesis and did not seriously consider other possible explanations.
    • The "documentary" does not produce anything like a "detailed account" of what happened. At best, it provided a superficial overview of one particular interpretation of the events in question.
    • There is nothing to say that the imaginative computer graphics in the "documentary" represent anything that actually occurred in real life.
    • There is no "simulation" in the documentary. At best it is an artistic impression.
    • There is plenty not only to "quibble about", but to focus on with skeptical eye.
    • There is nothing to say that the "encounters happened as reported". That is merely a conclusion you have reached in the absence of hard evidence.
    • The evidence for alien spaceships, as in all such cases, is not "compelling" to anybody but the ardent UFO fanboy.
The bottom line is that about the only "facts" that are not disputed are that a video shows something and a couple of people tell a good story.
