Centuries later the math is the same. F1>F2 . Sorry.

I was asked to call into a radio show and talk a bit about the tunnels. If you scroll to 41 mins. here I talk about them:
That's not maths, that's a vague statement.
What kind of figures are you getting through researching the entry point force and the mass of the water in the tunnel? It seems to me that you haven't done the basic research needed. Neither Pascal nor Bernoulli apply to your tunnels device, and without even basic figures it is impossible to make the kind of claims you are making for your device.
cat2 i really hope you dont really believe that for your sake
Of course I do why else would I make them?
hahaha.... I actually listened to the show that's Cat2 provided. I was certain he was a day dreaming child around 12 years old but, he sounds like he's in his 60's or beyond.
I love the idea even though it's completely, absolutely, undeniably impractical. I've also noticed that Cat2 is ALL over the net with this idea and has been for years. This leads me to believe that he has not had it modeled yet. I'm curious to know if he has gotten anyone to support this idea with some proper data.
I'm no expert, but I cannot see enough kinetic energy available using his described process to power any turbines, let alone travel the distance necessary with any real usable flow rate.
