Trump continues to squirm under pressure, and his unfounded conspiracy theories are coming out with increasing frequency, with machinegun like frequency and inaccuracy. Trump's first unfounded conspiracy occurred before the election. Trump claimed the election was rigged. And then when he won, the election suddenly wasn't rigged. Trump's next unfounded conspiracy was that millions of illegal aliens had voted in the election preventing him from attaining a majority of the popular vote. And with great fanfare, Trump formed a presidential commission to investigate his unfounded conspiracy theory. A few months later, he quietly dissolved his presidential commision having found no evidence to support his conspiracy theory. Then we had a brief period of calm before Trump began obstructing justice and the formation of the Mueller investigation into his collision with Russia in order to throw an election. Since the then Trump has pushed a number of new unfounded conspiracies intended to discredit the Trump-Russia investigation with each faux conspiracy falling flat after being debunked with fact and reason. First, it was the Mueller investigation was being led by partisan Democrats, when in fact that the investigation was created by and is being led by Trump's very own Republican appointees. Oops. Then Trump moved onto the Trump-Nunes Deep Throat 2.0 Unmasking Conspiracy. When that failed, he moved on to the Fake FISA Conspiracy. And when that failed, he moved onto "Spygate" which fell flat and was debunked within a matter of days. And now, Trump's latest faux conspiracy is the Trump-Russia (Mueller)investigation will meddle with the midterm elections. Trump branded each of these faux conspiracy scandals as the scandal of the century: bigger than Watergate he and his Republican co-conspirators screamed. The truth is, the only scandal here is of Trump's own making. As the pressure mounts, Trump is becoming increasingly erratic as evidenced by his growing number of faux conspiracies. He's desperately searching for something, anything, to kill or discredit the Trump-Russia (Mueller) investigation and his new lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, has said as much. What's next?
