    The Real Siberian Unicorn

But a well-preserved fossilized skull found in Kazakhstan reveals the shaggy creature was still alive and walking this earth a mere 29,000 years ago, according to a study published this month in the American Journal of Applied Sciences. There is now some mystery surrounding how it survived so long. "Most likely, the south of Western Siberia was a [refuge], where this rhino had preserved the longest in comparison with the rest of the range," said Tomsk State University scientist Andrei Shpansky, who published the findings. The team are hoping the find will help them understand what environmental factors played a part in the eventual extinction of the species, and what role migration played in ...

Well, that unicorn is invalidated by the fact of Noah's Ark. The Earth isn't old enough for that unicorn to have existed. Pure logic

So, a woolly rhinoceros. More here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Woolly_rhinoceros

What has this to do with "Comparative Religion"?

I didn't get it either at first. Something like, "Take that non-beleivers, unicorns are real!" would have played better. Still not a beliver, but I like where you were going with the joke.

I see nothing special about that fossil find. We recently discovered Camel fossils close to the North Pole. Camels are of American origin, and migrated slowly southward as the Northern regions got colder, until they ended up as Lamas and Alpacas in South America and Camels and Dromedaries in Africa.

As an atheist, my awe and wonder for the natural appearance and evolution of life on earth is no less than the awe and wonder of theists for their various *creation stories* (Scripture)..

The difference is that Science provides evidence that can be *believed*, whereas Theism tells *unbelievable stories*, without evidence of any kind.

Befor science there was inspiration , then men went to check the inspiration to verify it and so science become an arm of inspiration . I am not sure if Atheists are more inspired in exploring nature then Theists , it is our human curiosity , Atheist and theists poses this quality.

You have no idea what you're saying, do you?

Religion is the way to keep disparity. Religion is used to make the wealthy wealthier, and to keep the believers as slaves to the system.

Actually, science became the substitute for inspiration.

I hate to disappoint you, but Theism has never *endorsed* scientific inquiry which might discredit biblical scripture. In fact the opposite is true. A few examples:

A 1000 years earlier an example of this can already be found in the story of Hypatia.
