i dont see what is so wrong with the last part of the article...garlic and beetroot juice are both VERY healthy things for a person with an immune system disorder.
While beetroot and garlic may be good for the immune system, the problem was the health minister's promotion of them in place of the anti-retrovirals.
maybe they think since all these people are close to death anyway might as well stop another plague before it starts.
I think you're missing the "A claim by Gambian President Yahya Jammeh that he can cure Aids in three days", bit. Sure, beetroot and garlic might be a good diet choice, but to cure aids?
FOR OVER TEN YEARS.... every time I get sick.... everytime... i eat raw garlic... and it cures me.... real fast. i have spoken with doctors.. and the reason they say it works.. is because the garlic stimulates your immune system to respond, when normally... it just sits there and does nothing... until it is to late. it causes a fever.... before your body notices the disease.... it has always worked for me.. if the body was put into immune overdrive.. it would have the chance to fight.... the probublem with aids... is... it goes un-noticed.... its like invisible. if we could make it visible to our t cells... then they could act. i cant say, im sure it could work with hiv... but it works for the flu... any flu. i once had a lung infection... it burned when i breathed.. i mean burned.... i thought i was going to die. i went straight to the store and bought a drink and a bulb of garlic. i eat half the bulb.... and waited in my car... if it didnt work.. i was going straight to the ER... it worked... in 1/2 hour... all the pain was gone... and i was fine... killed that shit right off. -MT

IVE USED GARLIC FOR OVER 10 YEARS.... once.. over 10 years ago... i had the flu real bad... for many days.. and the thought occured to me... hea... this shit (garlic) is so awful... it would practically kill me... so maybe it will hurt the flu... i tried it... it worked.. or the past ten years... i use it religiously, when ever sick... and i have not been sick for 10 years... at the first sign... i eat alot of garlic.. and the germs... dont stand a chance.. oh... and my lungs were burning.... burning.... if the garlic didnt work... i would probubly needed an ambulance. garlic works.... you should all try it. -MT
