If it was me making the claim I would consider it an observation of the available facts

    Dead people don't move

They had lived in the Universe

Ref:- Internal gut feeling. The link is out there

Michael: I agree, but has little to do (IMO) with death's purpose - (Ref. (paraphrase: the universe 'communicating' (sic, to those might do likewise), to "slow down") - as inferred by others.

The evolution process has provided a brain which is capable on a small scale to adapt to changing conditions by modifying the conditions

ie we are able to build shelters and live in a variety of climates and even space

I would consider it highly unlikely we could live in space long enough to reproduce and adapt to space conditions

I am not talking about adapting to living inside a space craft

I'm taking about the vaccum of space

I like the idea of DNA manipulation

The pathway for that to work I see as checking the DNA of a newborn and devising a method of keeping the DNA pristine during growth and multiplication

ie correcting errors as they occur

I would like to hear of other pathway ideas

I like both Hypo and High Poe

    Very very good word play

    When I adopted Poe

for my signature it was intended to indicate don't take me to seriously

It still holds true even when I am being serious

Although when serious it is more just me being me

Shame there are not shades of Poe

Although I have tried to grade my seriousness with multiple copies of Poe but it not a really satisfactory method

Can someone out there invent an expressive Poe please?

Grade 1 to 10 would be fine

The below gives the history of Poe

    Poe's Law

Similar to Murphy's Law, Poe's Law concerns internet debates, particularly regarding religion or politics.

Poe's law is an adage that states that, without a clear indicator of the author's intent, it is impossible to create a parody of extreme views so obviously exaggerated that it cannot be mistaken by some readers or viewers as a sincere expression of the parodied views

The law was named after theologian Dr. Harry Lee Poe, a cousin of Edgar Allan Poe, who promoted the concept in his book "The Gospel and Its Meaning: A Theology for Evangelism and Church Growth."

The original statement of the adage, by Nathan Poe was

Without a winking smiley or other blatant display of humor, it is utterly impossible to parody a Creationist in such a way that someone won't mistake for the genuine article.

In other words, No matter how bizzare, outrageous, or just plain idiotic a parody of a Fundamentalist may seem, there will always be someone who cannot tell that it is a parody, having seen similar REAL ideas from real religious / Political Fundamentalists

    With additions from other sources

    Yours in all Poeness

Dave: Pls read the BLUE text inserted within yours . . . . that is how I responded to certain specifics of your post . . . . . probably NOT a "conventional" method for 'forums' responses, I'm sure!

That one is more than mere convention on a forum. It is technically libel, and can have legal implications beyond a forum discussion. (I'm not suggesting that's the case here, simply that your flouting of communication standards is escalating.)

Quoting someone is explicitly saying "this person said these exact words" You must not alter their words.

    Responses belong outside the quotes.
