Mmm. Oh what. You were in that picture? Couldn't get past the saucy little minx in the back there with the fishnet stockings. *gulp*

Heh. Probably underage though, eh? Curses.

Yeah, you can't get attachments to show as images. You can in some forums by placing the link in an html tag, but html is turned off in here. Probably for that reason. The only forum that it really makes sense to have html turned off in, actually. The others are without rhyme or reason.

The pics and links that vanished were basically the attachments I believe. If they linked to a pic offsite then it's still there. But, a lot of those no longer actually work either because people's web spaces and whatnot have changed after all this time.

Gendanken, i've said it before and i'll say it again - GET A LIFE.
Go and support your own self esteem problems some other way than taking down other people about they way they look. if you're so damn great, wheres YOUR pic? Post it and we'll see what everyone else has to say about U.

Tell me something: Do you feel taken down if someone calls you a pathetic smatch or a dipshit?

If you pass a wall and the writing says "He who is reading this is a fuckwit!" -- do you feel addressed by this, do you feel offended?

What does it say about *you* if you can feel brought down by the words of someone you don't know, someone who is nothing to you, or even a writing on a wall?

RosaMagika, no i do not feel offended by writing on the wall, because writing on the wall wasnt making a direct comment about me, to me. The things said to me were not generalized in that way, they were directed to me personally. what was said is totally different to a writing on a wall.

gendanken no i just dont feel the need to waste my time on slime like you. If you are too ashamed to re-post your pic for everyone to see without having to search for it, it's not really my problem.

What is Gendanken to you, or what are you to Gendanken?!

You should be ashamed of yourself for letting yourself be taken down by the words of people who are nothing to you!

Now go and look into the mirror, and say, "I am a stupid bitch!" This image there in the mirror is ultimately the only one by whose words you should feel offended by.

Too late, you just *have* wasted your time on "slime like Gendanken".

Yes, it *is* your problem, because you wish to *compare* -- and on the basis of this comparison you will determine who is worthy of saying what.

If you knew that Gendy looks like [insert name of *the most beautiful* woman, in your opinion], then you would take Gendy's words for gold, wouldn't you?

And you would feel that she has *every right* to call you dirt -- because you would know that you don't look as good as her. For if you don't look as good as her then you are obliged to take the words that woman says to you as the *ultimate truth* about *you* and *your worth*.

    Shame on you, Playboy Bunny.

Oh dawlings—talking about sweet couples... isn't it simply divine how our adorable jet-set couple in Europa pop in every now and then as a pair shamming an air of superior unselfconsciousness but oh so officially together and oh so professional that we quiver in our provincialism and s'il vous plaît how low-key they are sparing us the embarrassment of wondering where the lovely couple's computer is all set up…

God. Give me sweet Bunny and Asguard anytime… or at least a barf bag.

    Catch a clue will ya??
What's your problem with those two? Can't stand it, can you? Does it nibble on your ears at night, this thought of 'those two' out in "Europa" with the wind in their shitlocks?
    Fanstasy and lies, Andy.

Here's something to lighten you up: your boyfriend is still here

    Bunny:
    Eat shit and game over.

    Rosa:

I don't have the book with me, but I stumbled across a name in my reading. George Meade- his theories on our social mannerisms were strangely...Rosaish.
He even uses the phrase 'eyes of others'.
Question the first: did you stumble across him as well?

    Pause.
Wonderful idea!! We can breath dignity into this thread with meaty discussion, fuck pictures.
    But first answer that question.

Arghh..I give up. I could have been bored like any other night but nooo..I went through 114 pages to find Gendy's pic and nope. Her pic is either in her avatar or purposely hidden because all attachments don't show up and 99% of the links are dead. I had my doubts but I can't see their attachments.

I want my 30 mins back.......ahhh whatever, I would have wasted them anyway.

    I officially give up.

No. The sentence "We need the look of other eyes" (or something like that) is from Milan Kundera's "The unbearable lightness of being" (or something like that, don't know the English translation).
My background on "social mannerisms" is mostly from my linguistic studies.

EDIT: You must mean George Herbert Mead (1863-1931)?

    Gendanken,
    Tsk.
Nooo. Really. Geeze. No way. Really. How can I prove it? Haven't I already? Naaa. It was human nature I was commenting on. I was simply commenting from the tabloid persona, you know, having fun, the picture thread. It's just that we had such a lovely summer... it'll be over soon.
