It's a long story, one I'd rather not get into. But the end result is a new me, I guess, and a greater cynicism. How do you remember me so well?
Intuition. I probably wouldn't have guessed myself. Not without a few more clues. But, as soon as Roman made his guess. Everything just fit. I'm a very intuitive person. Haven't you guessed that by now? Water, Ha! What happened to your intuition?
My intuition is just fine, thank you. I am not psychic, though. The man did change, the way he spoke sounded like someone else.
Edit: I just read that you didn't want to go into it. Sorry. I hope things are going okay for you....I've always thought of you as a witty, bright, inquisitive person though- and cynicism doesn't quite fit how I perceived you in the past. I guess things change though...and people get older.
I'm glad you thought that way, analbeads. And, I may be exaggerating how cynical I am now, but I do think I'm a different person now, given all that's happened. Hopefully, at least I'm not a tool anymore, as Roman put it.
Tool in a good way Athel, tool in a good way. The good kind of tool. A tool for the force of Good. And nourish that cynicism, it will make you a bitter person.
