It's a mathematical proof that you're (as usual) talking out of your arse.
Or would rather have had Capt. Borkj ust post a picture of the Moon showing that it's actually red?*

    * Because, as everyone, knows, red is really really good at, uh, pullin' water an' shit like that.

The only thing i will TELL people (for now) is that the tides are effected from the earth internally. And if that is causing this rock (moon) to follow it around...i really cant say.

    Why "for now"?
This thread was started specifically at your request so that you could provide the "proof" you claimed you had.
In other words: you're bullshitting. Again.
You've got nothing but sustained ignorance on your side.

I have proven, you fool, that the moon does not effect the tides. My proof is that it is too small and too far away. Never once dod i say\claim i would tell you why\how there are tides. That is your conflation...as usual.

Well then I would suggest you carfully read in on the matters and try to find flaws in the current model and take the time to think abouth a proper respons in the mean time let it be.
    So go study

    No you have not.
You posted a diagram and claimed that it somehow made your point. This, apart from being utterly wrong, in no way constitutes a proof. As was pointed out by Spidergoat in Post #28: argument from incredulity is not a valid argument, let alone "proof".

That is a claim, not a proof.

You've obviously misread something somewhere. I haven't claimed that you did say you'd tell us why there are tides (although you HAVE made a nonsensical claim on that too).

John. The moon affects the tides. Why is this up for debate?

    Oh dear God..

Ah shite, I just laughed so hard I nearly peed my pants.

    Okay..

    *Wipes tears of laughter*

The moon is small and is far away. But it does not take away from the very simple fact that it's gravitational pull does affect everything on Earth. We notice its force with the tide because water is a fluid and thus, the large body of water like the frigging ocean will show that gravitational pull by way of tides.

Now John, unless you have proof that the moon is too small and too far away to have any affect on this planet's tides, I'd suggest you stop now or retract.

I congratulate you on a most excellent troll. You got a lot of people here going. For your next act might I suggest revisiting geocentrism?

It's not small it's the 5 biggest moon in the solar system and it has the 2 highest surfacegravity.

Orcot, Look...look for yourself. We are scientists, we understand what is possible.

    Look at the SCALE models:

    http://www.freemars.org/jeff/planets/Luna/Luna.htm

Facts dont lie. The moon is too small and too far, this means it is impossible to have that kind of reaction. Its over...

What is happening is something else and the moon is following it. This is why people think it is effecting it...it isnt.

    You aren't.

    You evidently don't.

Correct. And the fact is that gravity affects the tides.

But you have no evidence and no proof. All you have is gross ignorance and an unwillingness to learn.

Which only demonstrates that you are devoid of understanding.

Dywyddyr, you have been relegated to antiquity.

Exactly. Or like a tiny virus too small to see killing an elephant. The very idea is ludicrous.

We are talking about mass here (primarily), dont confuse the situation.

Actually it does. A fly on the other side of the galaxy will affect the elephant on Earth.

    What was Londo Mollari said?
Oh yeah: "Arrogance and ignorance all in one package...how very efficient."

I'm relegated to antiquity? On what grounds?
That you have FAILED consistently to prove your claim.
That you have FAILED consistently to even support your claim.
That you have FAILED consistently to look at the data opposing your claim.
That you have FAILED consistently to learn anything with regard to your claim.

I have a separate, but slightly-related question (in that it hinges on your intelligence) question: did you take breathing lessons as a child or is it something you actually managed to work out for yourself?
