Just a note on cross-platform programming, it's all very well to complain, but imagine you take a piece of buggy code early on because you have a time limit to get the product shipped.

This means you have a programmer moving the code across from one platform to another, picking up bugs from the original code and adding their own unique corner cutting for time saving and you end up with a buggy game.

It's most notiable that most games are made on PC's, so it does make sense why the PC should have the more stable platform.

Why stroke us if you're not going to deliver?

    Stryder

Well ... maybe they shouldn't spend two years stroking users on the "wrong" platforms. Why did they bother writing the beta for the other platforms if, only a couple of weeks before release they clear their throats and say, "Oh, yeah ... we're not going to put the game out for 2/3 of the platforms we tested on"?

Frankly, for all the PC users, you should be furious too. Just think of how much of your money goes to pay for developing those platforms that you have to help them recover.

Besides ... the beta ran great on Macs, and the best servers for its online play were Linux. People other than the production company often push to finish the Mac & Linux version independently because they like the game so much. In the end, it actually encourages piracy since, should the fixes work, you'll either have thousands of users buying a game that's not for their platform, or else they'll just pirate the thing from a friend with a PC. And who buys software for a platform other than their own?

    thanx,
    Tiassa

This is not true! If you watch the matrix revisted and actually looked in the part about the two sequels (that will make it one kick ass trilogy) then you would hear them say that there will be more philosophy involved with this one then the first one. The action is just a bonus.

    Tiassa,
    Hi.Talking after a long time.

The Matrix was initially based on a great idea of living inside a computer system.had they kept it more on showing just a techno tour documentary kinds of movie,it would have pissed off the pants of Movie makers the amount of money involved.so they twisted it,and yeah they twisted it so well that people were able to accept the idea of God moded Neo inside the matrix very easily.

Although i never wanted to say this but whats wrong with us living inside the Matrix with machines using us as batteries?A kind of Symbiosis, and we are also given our best of lives, everything is so perfect.what else do you want?(Jesus, you smell that same smell when it rains.

Carrying on the philosophy of Neo et al strugglers, they have made matrix's sequels.you cant expect to change this.they have done it with great style.you"ll find soon more about Zion Mainframe,in Matrix Reloaded.the ideas are carried in sequels not changed.the philosophy us the same.did you expect the group to change its philosophy and go all the way with machines?
    neh thats not possible.

    nice talking to you.
    thanks for time.

    bye!
