    Welcome to Sciforums, Elbaz, I hope you enjoy our community. I had not thought of the chemosynthesis until you mentioned it. Duh! Replacing light with chemical as the energy source. And that's exactly what it is about. Thank you.

    I'm definately enjoying this community. I spent about 5 hours in it in the last 2 days! Thankyou for the welcome. There are dark cave plants all over primarily in southeastern USA that use chemosynthesis. I saw it on the discovery channel. unfortunately I wont get to be here again until monday because they're dragging me camping. I'll be back!
