I do think that he's willing to dispense with the original timeline where needed. Moreover, I wish he's just say it's a total "reboot", it's what Trek needs. The scenese, from what I've read, are not the "alternative" timelines. ~String
Right. Well, obviously there isn't enough, because people still want it (myself included). Plus, it's called capitalism: they sell, some people buy. You don't have to. So, if it bugs you so much, don't go. You'll be okay. ~String
No other series has done this does that tell you anything? Move on I'd say, to a new and different view of sci-fi brought to you by todays filmmakers and writers. Time to get out of the quicksand of the time past and step into the future. Not many people went to see Star Treck #10 did they, what does that say to you?
No, other than the fact that history doesn't occur in a vacuum. The movies were produced for a reason. About half of them were bad. Half were good. In the end, I couldn't care less what "everybody else does." If I like something, I like it and choosing to "move on" doesn't change the fact that the $7.50 I spend it's much on my end for something I enjoy so greatly. You're making it sound like I'm spending huge sums of energy on Star Trek. I watch a show or movie. I gain nothing other than entertainment. That's what it's about. The movie sucked & it's time for a new direction. We'll see how this one turns out. If not, there's always Trek XII. ~String
I loved DS9. What're you... racist? It's cuz it had a "darky" in command, isn't it? Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! Did you like Voyager? (I wasn't a fan... maybe I'm sexist). ~String
Now that was a great series, Deep Space 9, to bad they don't folow up with a movie using it as a start point!
I just had an idea....... show the Federations training academy, but the womens sector :S Make it all about women in the federation lmao! Goddddd
Incorrect. It is due out on the 14th and will be shown during "Quantum of Solace". (at least in the US it is) ~String
