http://www.bbc.com/news/uk-england-essex-43601949 side note check out the yellow taxi with 2(huh?) drivers both wearing hoodies ... dropping off a family right beside a burning airport terminal. i wonder if these are illegal drivers whom have already been banned from the airport(pondering) my main point is the lack of fire fighting. NO STAFF CREATING A CORDON TO KEEP THE PUBLIC AWAY FROM THE FIRE. this is basic fire response stuff. where are the fire engines ? surely there must be a direct route from the fire station to the front of the terminal ? the response time should be no more than roughly 3 to 4 minutes. this should raise some very serious questions about the airport management and the regulating body that over see the basic safety certification. no cordon public allowed to access the fire as the buss starts exploding. vehicles allowed to drive up beside the buss and drop off passengers and children with bags. there is a very short video of passengers being allowed to walk right up to the inside door of the terminal as the flames lap at the outside.
