Long story short: Military NCO goes to a gun show over the weekend with his buddy. They spot a guy wearing a goofy looking get-up claiming to be Army Special Forces. Through talking to the individual, he is able to ascertain that the individual is obviously lying. Military guy asks the faker to step outside and proceeds to verbally tear him a new a-hole, asks him to take off and surrender all of the items he did not earn (all of them, which he did), and got as much information on him as he could.

Turns out the guy is a serial impersonator, and has caused some serious trouble in the past, and is a wanted felon. The OP is trying to spread the word on this guy in hopes of catching him, or at least raise awareness of the individual, and the issue of wearing a military uniform when you are NOT in the military.

    Thank you!

Heh, we had a guy here in the UK recently convicted of fraud (among other things). Apparently he'd convinced his girlfriend he was ex-SAS and that he'd won several medals but had had to sell them. So she spent a lot of time and money acquiring the ones he claimed he'd held - turns out he'd won one of them for bravery in combat when he was 7 years old...

The sad part is that his g/f can't claim any of her money back even though the medals were confiscated by the authorities as he wasn't entitled to them.

    There's always a Walt somewhere...

Look at all of the politicans. They always tell everyone how they will make things better, but only it seems for themselves.
