A grand monument to human stupidity and greed.

I think its a wonderful idea. Every apartment will automatically have a panoramic view. Why do you think it greedy and stupid?

for the sewer problem, each rotating floor (disc) will have a tank of shit, it will be in contact with the one above it and under it for a certain amount of time enough for the shit to be transferred to the one below it..and so on till it reaches ground zero..

or the tank can have a momentarily contact with a pipe in every turn instead with the tank from the floor under it..

Or.. the sewer pipe rotates together with the apartment.

There is no need for such technology .
I do not see why on earth do you have to build a building in such a complexity .

    Need?
Since when have things been about need?
There's no need for different flavours of burger but we do it.

it's shameful really, you have a lot of money in your hands and little brains to figure out what better to do with them..

OR...the toilets will disintegrate your leftovers with a laser beam!!

but seriously, the sewer problem can be solved in more ways than one..considering you have the money to use really high quality materials to make up for the weakening of the system because of the rotation..

Meaning that each tank must be at least twice the size of the one above it. And the connection must also increase in size (doubling at minimum) as you get lower.
    Interesting...
    And unfeasible.
    Especially at 78 stories [size] > [size x 2] > [size x 4]...
Start off with a 1 litre tank (ridiculously small) at the top and by the time you reach the ground: 151115727451829000000000 litres, say it's twice the density of water (never actually looked the density of sh*t for some reason

    ) = 75557863725914300000 cubic metres.
    Hmmm big tank...

Contact time would be the limiter here:
    From http://www.dynamicarchitecture.net/_BUILDING.html
    But no dimensions. Pity.

Wouldn't you get inner ear sickness ?
I would have hell of a time working and living in that building. I mean, you won't have any outside reference points, they'll all be changing constantly.

Fastest speed is 1 rotation per hour.
You'd have to be pretty delicate to get queasy from that.

All plumbing is restricted to the non-rotating core.

    You mean, like this?

so people go into the core to use the bathroom and wash dishes?

No, the "plumbing" (e.g. bath and W.C.s) can be anywhere but they are piped directly to the core.

If they are spinning around the core, how do they get piped in there without a rupture?

Central core with all of the piping FIXED to it like a metal tree.
The only rotating fitting needed is at the bottom where it goes into the town system.
The core plumbing will rotate inside the building core.

    I agree.
It is plain greed and stupidity .
The costs for such structures are enormous while we have homeless people in every City of the globe .
If you have tons of money do not burn them stupid try to help humanity .

The plumbing for each apartment comes off the outer end of each branch and leads to the central pipe which can rotate inside the building core.
And the only rotating-to-non-rotating connection required would be at the bottom of the vertical piping.
