    I've checked this out all over the web,a nd heard it from someone who was there a while back. Fukushi, can you shed some light on this?

    Seems to me it is openly accepted paedophilia, sort of. Very weird.

    From what I understand, there is almost nothing you cannot get from a vending machine, in Japan. I have never been, but I do plan on going there, in the next couple of years.

    Man work too hard in Japan. There is even a name there for the event when you die on your desk from overwork. (I forgot it).

    The men are stressed. They also have very little time and underdeveloped social skills. The Japanese women are not interested in the men. They want strong macho like men. (gennnneralissssingggg)

    The men feel left out and threatened by the demands of the women. They resolve to fantasies. In comes Manga (with cute girls who follow men around and do as the men desire) and stuff like the underwair from the vending machine.

    In Japan they are EXTREMELY open with their violence and their sexuality. Sometimes this is a good thing do to the fact they probably have less problems in both areas because they are so open................and somtimes this is a bad thing :bugeye:

    In case you might not know, Japan has a legal porn limit age of 15. Not so high. And by the time you are 18, you can look at whatever you want. Few porn pics are banned outright, if any.

    The philosophy behind this is, to subject kids to porn early so that they get some prior experience :bugeye: with which they can better cope with other temptations. Besides, there is an unmistakable moral wall that regulates. Unless you were too gaijin to notice.

    This is a bit off the point, but I think that toon porn is much better than actual hardcore photo porn. Toon porn is less explicit, and less messy (you should see some photos, it kinda gets messy when a woman or man gets excited...I won't go in any further!!). Besides, toon porn can really turn you on because the artists can control what the ... 'actors' do. The downside is that toon porn is a bit hard to get due to the labor involved in drawing Japanese toons. Now that is different from all that shoddy Batman or Spiderman comics crap you get mass produced and speed drawn from Americans. Japanese put their heart and soul into toons. No wonder toon porn turns me on. Any comments on this rather sick topic?

    I think like a bell curve, there is certain percentage of people that have aberrant behavior in that area. My understanding is that in middle-east and India, people take it upon themselves to beat up those culprits and keep it in check.

    Until we can breed it out though genetic modification - it will be there for a long time....

    it is the need of true untainted love that drives the spirit that is seen in young people before they are poisened and brainwashed!!!

    its just that most people have no idea of what true love is and so they confuse it with sex!!!

    once people as a genral poppulation can devide sex, lust and love
    then allot of those issues will be resolved.

    im sure gene therapy would help as well but it'l be years before thats released to the genral public!

    I understand, what you are saying, but there are limits to love. In my personal situation, we were court appointed to host a beautiful girl due to her family situation. We knew her before because she was my daughter's friend. I treated her same as my daughter. However when she moved in, even if she needed the same love and affection as my kids, I had to be extra careful - not to create a misunderstanding or misperception.

    People who are not emotionally matured, whether due to social conditions or primary upbringing can have some problems and may slide in to the slippery slope...

    A case in point is the step brother and step sister realationships. According to the social worker I talked to, incest is a problem in these relationships and it happens in both poor as well as rich families. But that is a different topic....

    It is very difficult in US. Just our family has been exposed to our friend's divorces, affairs, our neighbor's kid getting pregnant and all sorts of social abberations all around us. It is a real life soap opera. Sometimes I wonder the bigger picture.

    That is these kids growing up in this tormoil - can they effectively govern and be leaders of the world? Does our value system or lack of it influence the world in a negative way? Can our civilization grow and sustain itself or are we socially bankcrupt?
