Explosions rock Jordanian hotels



At least 18 people have been killed and many more injured in blasts at international hotels in the Jordanian capital, Amman, police say.

One blast rocked the Grand Hyatt hotel, while the nearby Radisson hotel was also affected. Reports later said a third hotel has also been hit.

Police sources said at least one blast was caused by a bomb.

A BBC correspondent staying at the Grand Hyatt said glass windows had been blown out by the force of the blast.

She says she saw several badly wounded people, and that ambulances had rushed to the scene.
