Studies of race differences in brain size use a number of methods, including MRI. All methods produce the same results. Asians have the largest brains (on average), Blacks the smallest, and Whites in between. These differences in brain size are not due to body size. Adjusting for body size still results in the same pattern. The three-way pattern is also true for IQ. These race differences in brain size mean that Asians average about 102 million more brain cells than Whites, and that Whites have about 480 million more than Blacks. These differences in brain size probably explain the racial differences in IQ and cultural achievement.

I'm basically half-white-half-black and I have a much greater IQ then the american average- or the majority of white people, for that matter. So what? I don't think what you said is the case at all. Where's your evidence?

The stats on IQ among the three races is quite correct, except that the highest scores only pertain to Chinese, Koreans and Japanese, not south-east Asians or Indians.

However, I doubt whether brain size is the full story.

Its interesting to note that a mouse's brain forms a higher percentage of its total body mass than a human's brain relative to total human body mass.

One factor seems to be the structure of the fissures and convolutions...I believe its more complicated than just size.

 

The brain of a mouse is obviosuly bigger relative to its body, in comparison to humans. Of course that doesn't mean they are more intelligent, nor that they have big brains.

 

Its not exactly obvious. Shrews and mice are somewhat unique in this regard, because in most other mammals the brain mass relative to body mass is much less than humans.

Going back to those albinos in Africa that might have suffered 'racism' by their darker skinned compatriots? Perhaps they just got burned to coal on account of their abnormally light skins.....
