    Well I just thought I'd like to hear some scientists views on the matter but ur right, it should probably be put in the philosophy forum and let them decide what to do with the problem!!!

    I think this is the point one must come to after taking the starting post to its ultimate conclusion. If you take twins, sensing the same object at the same time under the same circumstances their final mental picture of it will still be different (even though the difference might be tiny they would leave having experienced slightly different things in the end). Its kind of a lonely thought, even though we use the same tools to perceive and process our environment the result will always differ in some way between individuals. Its like we all live in a slightly different reality.

    i wonder about this a lot, interesting thread!
